Darren Hazell – Managing Director

Darren has worked in the residential letting industry for the last 13 years. However, his involvement in property spans 20 years, with vast experience in property maintenance and the building industry.

“I take my role seriously. It’s not often that you find an MD that’s so hands-on, but I think it’s really important for a small team to pull together, so you won’t find me hiding behind my desk. The best part of my job is knowing that TLC has exceeded clients’ expectations. Many of our landlords have been with us for several years, which I think is the best testament any letting agent could have.”

In his spare time – what little he has – Darren enjoys motor racing, rugby and evenings out with friends, good food and fine wine.

Claire Whiteside – Lettings Manager

Claire has worked in Residential Lettings for seven years, originally working for a large chain of letting agents. She says:

“Moving to a smaller, independent agency like TLC has been fantastic, as the main focus is on offering excellent service to our landlords and tenants. The part of my job I find most satisfying is the diversity of what you encounter each day. Not being chained to a desk all day is brilliant, and it’s also a great way of getting to know the hidden treasures that Oxfordshire has to offer.”

Claire unwinds by cooking and eating out. In fact, she says that anything food and drink related is the best way to her heart!

Claire is a member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA) and ensures that all TLC staff follows a strict code of practice.
